How texting works in DetailDock

DetailDock is a booking app for mobile boat detailing, made by Tact Net Productions, LLC. Boat owners who book a detailer through DetailDock can choose to get text messages about their bookings. Texts are sent only to people who agreed to them.

What you may get

• Booking confirmations and schedule changes.
• Reminders before a visit, and a notice when the team is on the way.
• Replies to messages you send about your booking.
• Deals and openings, only if you separately agreed to those.

How you agree

When you accept a quote in the DetailDock app, the booking page shows this box. It starts unticked, and you can book without ticking it.

Texts with deals and openings need a second box, also unticked to start, shown when you connect with your detailer and in Account:

Good to know

• Agreeing to texts isn't required to book or to use DetailDock.
• Message frequency varies with your bookings.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from your detailer. Reply HELP for help. Reply START to get them again.
• You can also change your choice any time in the DetailDock app, under Account.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
